All the sets created by those working with AAC symbols in Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and later Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Albania were made up of their chosen core and fringe vocabularies, some in both Latin and Cyrillic script.
The symbol set numbers vary from 257 to 841 and where fringe words are included they tend to be related to cultural nuances, food and special festivals in the year, allowing for the use of other symbol sets for more commonly recognised images and concepts, where translations are already available, such as the ARASAAC set of symbols.
