When summarising the use of communication boards and technology used by those involved with AAC it is always important to think about copyright and how content and applications are shared. There are always options for the use of commercial products with their copyright licencing, rather than having to make decisions as to how you make open licences work. It is also possible to work with both types of licences used in the AAC world, but it is important to honour publishers' original licences in all their forms.
