6c. Example - North Macedonia: Cboard success with Gorjan
Updated by Global Symbols with UNICEF ECARO
The UNICEF MK YouTube video with English captions shows Gorjan enjoying Cboard whilst working with his special educator (Aneta S. Jovanovska) in his kindergarten. He is able to use his own language with text to speech reading out the translated symbol labels or concepts. The interface is also translated and in the video Aneta explains how intensive work over two months using Cboard has improved his social, communication and cognitive behaviours, mentioning how important being able to show his feelings and emotions has been and interacting with other children.
